Open Data

Last updated: 26 September 2026

When athletes scan a packaged food in Pantheon, or add one nobody has scanned yet, it joins a shared food catalog every athlete can search. Part of that catalog comes from Open Food Facts, whose database is open data — so ours is too.

Download

Each food lists its barcode (when it has one), name, brand, energy and macronutrients per 100 g, the serving size, any micronutrients, where the data came from (off = Open Food Facts, user = added by an athlete, label = read from a nutrition label) and when it last changed. It never includes who added a food. Foods the community reported as wrong are left out.

Licence

The catalog is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0. Individual contents are under the Database Contents License (DbCL) v1.0. You may copy, share and adapt it, including commercially, as long as you attribute it and share any database you derive from it under the same licence.

Attribution

Contains information from Open Food Facts, made available under the ODbL, and product data added by the Pantheon community (luxeforge.io), published under the same licence. Inside the app, food from Open Food Facts carries this notice with a link to the product's own Open Food Facts page.

Adding products

Products you add to the shared catalog — name, brand, barcode, serving and nutrition values — are shown to every Pantheon athlete and published here under the ODbL. Your identity is never attached to them. Numbers are checked before they are saved, and a food that three athletes report as wrong is hidden until fresh data replaces it.
